Yuri Attends the '34th Blue Dragon Film Awards'

On November 22nd, Yuri attended the “34th Blue Dragon Film Awards” at Kyunghee University’s Hall of Peace. Presented by Sports Chosun, the annual awards ceremony celebrates excellence in film in South Korea.
Yuri arrived looking absolutely stunning with a elegant dark blue gown. She took the stage to present the “Most Popular Film” award alongside Johannes Thammer, the managing director of South Korean operations for Audi Korea at Volkswagen AG.

Tiffany attended ASH 2013 Collection Show

Tiffany attended the “ASH 2013 AW Collection” show at the Beyond Museum in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on August 2nd. ASH is an Italian shoe brand that specializes in contemporary footwear for both men and women. Tiffany chose a dark green bag to go along with her white and black dress, looking as beautiful as ever as she posed for photos by the press members. Girls' Generation Meets The Minions

On July 19, Seohyun posted a picture with a message on Girls’ Generation official website. She wrote, “Minions like Girls’ Generation. We went early in the morning and thanks to the minions to start our day with a smile. I’m imitating the minion. Whoa. I will be back after a good concert in Taiwan.”

On the same day, Taeyeon posted photos and caption in her instagram, “Margo and Edith with minions, aigoo that minion touched my back”.

SNSD are scheduled to go to Taiwan for their World tour concert and unexpectedly met the Minions at the Incheon International Airport which were prepared specially for the girls! The minions had banners written on them: "Girls’ Generation fans". Previously, Taeyeon and Seohyun came out already with the minions in the animation ‘Despicable Me’ where they dubbed.

The photos of Girls’ Generation and the minions had received comments from netizens ‘Girls’ Generation and minions so cute’, ‘Awesome fans’, and ‘Girls’ Generation welcomed warmed by the minions’.

Meanwhile, SNSD will continue their tour schedule on different countries all over the world.

The Unwanted Child - A Tae-Ny Fanfiction Trailer

"I met you for the first time and my heart was beating so fast."

"Because of you, those nightmares was just the past."

The car stopped in front of the tall and huge building on the center of the Seoul city. It was just another hot summer day on the middle of July. The lady went down from her car and walked inside the building, drinking a cup of coffee which was on her right hand while her left hand was holding onto folders and pieces of papers.

She felt a bumped on her shoulder and her papers fell down. She was lucky that the coffee didn't spill onto her clothes or it would be a total disaster.

"I am really sorry! I was running. I'm really sorry."

She look up at the long-hair girl. She looks so innocent and beautiful. Yes, beautiful.

"I guess it's alright. Just be careful."

She said as she walked away.

"Participant number 15 please come in."

She looked at her; the girl from before.

"So, Stephanie Hwang?"

"Yes?"

"Please introduce yourself and as why you want this job."

Learn Korean With SNSD [Part 1]

안녕하세요 소원들! 반가워요~! (Hello Sones! Nice to meet you~!)
I'm sure that are a lot of you out there who are interested in learning Korean language but never find time or teacher to teach you. So, in this corner, I will teach you some basic Koreans.
Since this time is "Learn Korean With SNSD Members", I'll show you how to write their name in Korean and also their nicknames. Because some of you might didn't know how to write Hangul yet, just memorize it.

(How to write and read hangul will be on the next chapter)

소녀시대 means Girls' Generation, written as So Nyeo Si Dae. Many people confuse this with 소년 which means guy / boy.

김 (Kim) 태 (Tae) 연 (Yeon)

이 (Lee) 썬 (Sun) 니 (Ny)
The 2nd Character '썬' Romanized as 'Sseon' and you read it not plainly 'Sun' but emphasize on the 'S' (because there are double S) and also read the U a little bit like O.
이 (Lee) 순 (Soon) 규 (Kyu) >> This is Sunny's real name
The 3rd character '규' is actually 'Gyu' but read it as 'K' so it's 'Kyu'

제 (Je) 시 (Si) 카 (Ka/Ca) 정 (Jung)
The 3rd character '카' is actually Ka but read as 'Ca' only in this case because 'Ca' in English is read as 'Ka' in Korean.
The 4th character '정' is Romanized as 'Jung' or 'Jeong' but read the U a little bit like O.
정(Jung) 수 (Soo) 연 (Yeon) >> Jessica's Korean Name

티(Ti) 파 (Pa) 니 (Ni) 황 (Hwang)
The 2nd character '파' can also be read as 'Fa' in English. Because in Korean, there's no F and V. So in Korean F is 'P' and V is 'B'.
황 (Hwang) 미 (Mi) 영 (Young)
The 3rd character '영' is read Young. But if you're confused because in Sica's name is Yeo but in Tiffany's it's You, ㅕ can be read as both.

김 (Kim) 효 (Hyo) 연 (Yeon)

권 (Kwon) 유 (Yu) 리 (Ri)
The 1st character '권' is written as Gwon but read as Kwon.

최 (Choi) 수 (Soo) 영 (Young)

임 (Im) 윤 (Yoon) 아 (Ah)

서 (Seo) 주 (Joo) 현 (Hyun)
Her stage name is from her family name 서 and 현.

SNSD nicknames

탱구 (Taengoo) Taeyeon's nickname

식신 (Shikshin) Sooyoung's nickname
Shikshin means the Goddess of eating

힘윤아 (Him Yoona) Yoona's nickname
Him means power

브랙펄 (Blackpearl) Yuri's nickname

사슴 (Saseum) Yoona's nickname
means deer

초딩 (Choding) Yoona's nickname means little boy or similar

아주마 (Ahjumma) Taeyeon's nickname means auntie.

댄싱 머신 (Dancing Machine) Hyoyeon's nickname

고구마 (Goguma) Seohyun's nickname means sweet potato

애교 여왕 (Aegyo Yeowang) Sunny's nickname means Aegyo queen. Aegyo means acting cute.

깝율 (Kkab Yul) Yuri's nickname means something like Dorky Yuri.

[most of the nicknames are in english so that's all i'm gonna tell if you have another thing tell me, i might forget some]

That's all for now :) hope you can memorize their name well. This had been the first Korean tutorial with admin Taeyeon from SoshiNation.

Dreaming of SNSD

The dream happened like 2 weeks or 3 weeks ago. It happened before the Love & Girls album was out; exactly 4 days before it was released.

It was the first dream of SNSD I actually remember.

It was just an ordinary day in Singapore and I casually entered the CD shop I found. I went to look around the CD shop until I saw a rack that was filled by all SNSD DVD and CDs. I was so happy I began to look at them for a long time. But I noticed something weird. The CDs I were looking at are not the CDs I know. But they got SNSD pictures as the cover. Then I came upon one DVD which was blue-green colored with a little bit of sparks. What shocked me the most was on the cover of it, was written, "Yoona Solo Concert DVD". I was so confused but then the staff came and asked if I need any help.

Becoming even more confused, I asked her (the staff) why are these SNSD CDs and DVDs are those which I didn't know and why Yoona had a solo concert. She told me to look at the date of the Yoona's DVD I was holding on to carefully so I did. I examined it and finally came upon a date on the side of the CD; June 2015 in Seoul.

I looked at the staff again and decided to asked her what year is it now. She answered that it was 2016 / 2017 (I forgot). I was so shocked. Then I looked over the rack again and saw Love & Girls album. Love & Girls is maybe the only thing I can recognize even though the album is not even released yet in reality (I know this is weird).

Coming up to my sense, I began to pick all of the CDs and DVDs but then I woke up just as I was walking to the cashier to pay <laugh>.

Days later, I was coming upon twitter and it said that the Love & Girls album are finally sell in stores in Japan. I opened the picture someone posted and was shocked to see the CD. The shape, the size, the covers, the colors are all the same as what I dreamt!

This may looks like I am exaggerating but no, I'm not. It really happens and I was left speechless.

A: I want to travel to trendy or beautiful places! My favorite cities are Paris and London. I want to go on a style-focused trip and find vintage goods and cute accessories and small articles.

Q: What are you into right now?
A: Rather than this, I usually think ‘how shall I enjoy myself every day?’ Do you need to know about delicious food or playing? For example I like to take selcas…I spend my time taking lots of fun pictures. I also like gaming and moving by body by swimming. The food I like is mentaiko (fish eggs), tuna, sesame leaves, cold Chinese noodles, fruits etc. I like a lot of food…Icecream is my favorite.

Q: What do you want to try next?
A: I want to try skydiving. It looks very thrilling and fun.

Q: What are you into right now?
A: As expected, something that I have always been interested in and check which is fashion. Recently, my current obsession is picking out accessories and small [fashion] items! And as everyone knows, pink! My room is filled with my favorite pink.. <3 It is a time where I feel most relaxed when I feel at home in my room while listening to music I like.

Q: What do you want to try next?
A: I want to utilize my experience working in a musical and have my goal to challenge “movies” and “dramas”! I want to pass on wonderful feelings through acting to lots of people. Everyone in SONE JAPAN, please look forward to it.

A: I’ve gathered a lot of items that sparkle^^ fussing over things like glitter fashion and sparkly nails! If you change the angle of Swarovski (brand) crystals, you can see how the light changes right? Just like those (crystals), I also want to show everyone the many different sides of me that I can bring out.

Q: What do you want to try next?
A: I want to go on a trip together the members! I also want to try going by myself too. I get to decide and plan where I will go, all of those kinds of decisions will be all by myself.Even just thinking of it seems fun~~ I want to go soon!!!

A: I’m always with the members and since I always tend to rely on someone, sometimes I need some alone time. I make a space with aroma and lighting where I can relax; I search the nature and go to a place with clean air. Beside that I also do mountain climbing with my family ^^ The word healing is ideal in this case!!

Q: What do you want to try next?
A: I want to make my own working room. Because I like to draw and write..I want to make my own space, I want to fully enjoy my alone time freely. ^^

A: Shopping and travel <3 On days off, I would often go out on trips with my family. I’m also really interested in fashion, so I read magazines and look at shopping sites on the internet. I also often check Japanese magazines!

A: I want to go on a trip with the other members. Destination is Las Vegas! I want to do a lot of shopping <3 Also, this is far in the future, but I want to try studying design overseas!

Q: What do you want to try next?
A: This year, to perform in a musical like the other members is one of my goals. From being on the side that enjoys watching to a side that experiences performing and conveying, I want to make use of that experience on stage as Girls’ Generation!
